PATHSTONE WALK-IN CLINIC

Free, walk-in, one-on-one counsellin­g with a mental health therapist is offered three days a week at Pathstone Mental Health for children and youth six to 17 years and their parents.

No appointmen­t needed. No fee, it’s free. And no health care required. When: Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (the last appointmen­t will be taken at 3:30 p.m.)

Where: Pathstone Mental Health, Branscombe centre, 1338 Fourth Ave., St. Catharines.

Details: Children and youth from six to 17 can come to the walk-in clinic if they are:

· Feeling sad, worried or angry · Having fights with your parents · Being bullied

· Dealing with a personal issue · Feeling like you might hurt yourself · Suffering because someone has hurt you

· Getting in trouble at school, home or in the community

· Feeling like you are being treated unfairly.

· Or, if there is anything else on your mind.

Parents/caregivers can come for children younger than six years if they are concerned about the child’s stages, are constantly arguing or are worried about their child’s social and emotional challenges.
