Niagara Falls Canucks forward Ben Evans and teammate Justin Kyle are 1-2 in league scoring heading into the second full month of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League regular season.

Evans paces the 25-team junior B loop with 17 goals and 24 assists for 41 points. Right behind is Kyle, 17 goals and 13 assists for 40 points. Canucks defenceman Dillon Hall, five goals, 27 assists, 32 points; and Niagara Falls forward Mitch Mendonca, 15 goals, 16 assists, 31 assists; are sixth and seventh, respective­ly, in the top 10 heading into action Wednesday night.

Top goaltendin­g tandem in the Golden Horseshoe Conference belongs to the Hamilton Kilty B’s. Marco Costantini, 2.10 goalsagain­st average in 10 games; and Cal Schell, 1.75 GAA in nine games; have combined to limit opponents to 2.06 goals per game.
