Dave Pendlebury is enjoying what is arguably his best year in the Niagara 5-Pin Mixed Pro League.

The Niagara 5-Pin Hall of Famer is currently the men’s high average leader as well as being on a team that has only lost once so far this season with a week to go in the season’s first segment.

Pendlebury kept things moving in the same direction as he again had the best individual performance of the week, rolling a fantastic 846 (266, 297, 283) to lead the Dale Mellway Life Insurance Magic to a 2-1 win over the Reggie’s Renovations Inc. Hammerheads.

Pendlebury was helped along by Paul Asselin’s 727 (265, 269) and Brad Gaudreau, who chipped in with 680 (237, 258).

The Hammerheads replied with Valerie Vallee’s best output of the season: 788 (221, 348, 219). Her 348 is the highest women’s single so far this season.

Tyler Wendel got back on track tossin a sizzling 800 (272, 266, 262) set to spark the Lakeside Electrical Lightning to a 2-1 win over the Oh Canada Eh Dinner Show

Town Criers.

Adam Eckhardt, with 650 (246, 206); and John Wendel, who was right behind with 645, also had a hand in the win.
