Niagara Parks to host annual wedding open house

- THE NIAGARA FALLS REVIEW

Niagara Parks will host its annual wedding open house later this month at Legends on the Niagara Golf Complex.

With a variety of ceremony locations and reception venues, custom in-house floral arrangements, unique War of 1812 heritage services, transportation and culinary offerings, the open house has everything a couple needs to create a specially tailored wedding day, Niagara Parks officials say. Niagara Parks’ weddings team, including its certified wedding and event specialists, floral designers, chefs and venue managers, will be on hand.

Couples can learn about venues and sample a tasting menu designed and prepared by the award-winning Niagara Parks culinary team.

Each of Niagara Parks’ five Feast On-certified venues feature fresh Niagara cuisine and a wide selection of local VQA wines and craft beers, and include Queenston Heights Restaurant, Legends on the Niagara, Table Rock House Restaurant, Queen Victoria Place and Whirlpool Restaurant.

Feast On, a program by the Culinary Tourism Alliance, certifies restaurants that are “champions” of Ontario food and drink.

“Our annual wedding open house provides the opportunity for couples to connect directly with our diverse team of professionals whom we are so very proud of here at Niagara Parks,” said parks commission chair Sandie Bellows. “Legends is our largest venue, which makes it perfect to showcase this event, and our guests will be able to explore nine distinct ceremony locations and five reception venues across Niagara Parks to choose from, to design a fairy tale experience to suit all tastes.”

The open house is Jan. 25, noon to 3 p.m. To register, visit niagaraparks.com/weddings.
