Sports content could be replaced with local

-

I find it interesting that even though there are very few sports going on, the newspaper always make sure there are two to six pages of sports.

Duh! Is this old boys thinking? With so many people at home looking for things to occupy the family, I would think the lifestyle section would be two to six pages instead. Print ideas teachers used the newspaper for in their classes many years ago.

Perhaps readers could write in ideas they are doing, more crafts could be elaborated on, photos of activities and creativeness could be printed highlighting local photographs, recipes for one or two people or a family, games for children to play. Older readers could write in about games they played when they were young that did not involve electronics.

Think outside the box and be a leader. Include more local content. Sandie Timco St. Catharines
