It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Martin Hagadorn on Friday January 22, 2021 in his 89th year from complicati­ons to COVID. Survived by the love of his life, Joan (nee Wedsworth) for 68 years. He is loved and will be missed by his family, son Doug (Lesley) Hagadorn, daughter Susan (Randy) Mewhiney, sonin-law Al Pybus, grandchild­ren Bryan Mewhiney, Baillie (Mike) Broekema, Braydon Mewhiney, Brittany, Kelsey and Steven Pybus, great grandchild­ren Abby, Anna and Liam Broekema. Brother to Larry Hagadorn, Joan (Terry) Wilson, Gale Knerr and Wayne (Judy) Hagadorn. Brother in law to Don (Doris) Wedsworth. Son to the late Raymond and Cecil Hagadorn. Predecease­d by daughter, Debbie Pybus (2015). Dad loved woodworkin­g, gardening and was always doing some kind of renovation on the house. He also loved spending time with his grandchild­ren and his great-grandchild­ren. He was proud of them all. We all miss him so much. He will be missed by members of the St. Columbia Church as he missed them the last few years.

He was a member of the Maple Leaf Masonic Lodge where he was secretary and treasurer for many years. He developed an online presence for all Lodges of Niagara A. In 2003, he was awarded the prestigiou­s William Mercer Wilson Award for dedicated service to the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Niagara Woodcarver­s Associatio­n and worked on many carvings in the Niagara Region including, "Welcome to Port Dalhousie" and "Mel Swart Lake Gibson Conservati­on Area". We would like to express our deepest thank you to all the staff at Extendicar­e St. Catharines. The staff that looked after Dad, and are looking after Mom, are amazing and we appreciate all that you have done and are doing. Due to COVID, details will be announced at a later time for funeral arrangemen­ts. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre. Memorial donations may be made to Toronto Sick Kids or Niagara Health System, St. Catharines site.
