Sask. golfers compete at Mid-Amateur event
Saskatoon’s David Stewart and Humboldt’s Paul Raycroft each followed individual opening round 71s on Tuesday with second round 73s at the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Golf Championships. They are each tied for 23rd at even par with two rounds to play in Bromont, Que. Jordan Irwin of Banff is alone in first at 12-under-par. The top Saskatchewan golfer is Regina’s Tyler Zaba at 1-under. Saskatoon’s Shaun Dunphy is tied for 46th and Carnduff’s Kris Carley is tied for 53rd. Team Saskatchewan finished in seventh place in the inter-provincial team competition with the scores of Stewart counting, along with Tyler Wright and Ryan McNall, both of Regina.
