PUJOLS MOVES UP HR LIST AS ANGELS ROUT BLUE JAYS
Albert Pujols moved into sole possession of 10th all-time on the home run list Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Angels routed the Toronto Blue Jays 8-2. Pujols’s 584th career home run in the first inning moved him past Mark McGwire on the list. He finished the night with four hits and three RBI. Mike Trout also homered for the Angels (5373) while adding a double and single. Marco Estrada suffered the loss for Toronto (71-55), going five innings while giving up six earned runs on 10 hits, walking three (one intentional) and striking out four. He hasn’t gone past the fifth inning in three straight starts.
