MOTHER PLEADS FOR INFORMATION ABOUT MISSING DAUGHTER

Tears ran down Gillian Fletcher’s cheeks and her voice cracked as the New Brunswick woman pleaded publicly Wednesday for information that might solve the mysterious disappearance of her daughter nearly a month ago. Jami Springer, 27, was last seen in the late afternoon of Aug. 31 in Moncton. Police are calling her disappearance suspicious. “This is our family’s worst nightmare, wondering where Jami is, who she is with, and if she is safe. We know that somebody must know something,” said her mother.
