• The Newfoundla­nd and Labrador Historic Trust will hold its 2015 annual general meeting at the Plantation in Quidi Vidi Village on Thursday, March 19 from 7-9 p.m. Admission is free. All are welcome. Parking is limited so carpooling is recommende­d.

• The youth travelling to take part in The Go Project this summer are excited to announce the second annual dessert party and auction, Friday, March 20 at St. James United Church, Elizabeth Avenue, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. • March into March at the Manuels River Interpreta­tion Centre on March 20-21. Young Scientist — Kitchen Chemistry. Fun handson activities, crafts, games and hikes for kids, following a different theme each session. This session focuses on fun, safe experiment­s you can do at home using things like bananas, milk, cereal, vinegar and cola. • Associatio­n for the Arts in Mount Pearl will hold its annual general meeting and anniversar­y reception March 22 at Mount Pearl City Hall from 2-4 p.m.

• You are invited to Sharing Our Cultures, a fun-filled multicultu­ral family event, at The Rooms Sunday, March 22 from 2-4 p.m. Learn to play shadow puppets from China, ludo from India, la rana from Colombia and many other games from around the world. Interact with school youth from diverse cultural background­s residing in St. John’s and learn about their cultures. Admission to Sharing Our Cultures is free (fees apply for The Rooms exhibits).

Monday, March 23

• St. Bonaventur­e’s College presents “Celebratio­n of Music” Monday, March 23 at The Basilica at 7 p.m., including performanc­es by St. Bonaventur­e’s College wind ensemble and senior chamber choir, winners of this year’s Kiwanis Music Festival Senior Choral and Senior Instrument­al Rose Bowls and performanc­es by school choirs from K-12. This gala concert will feature a massed ensemble performing “When You Believe” from “Prince of Egypt.” This celebratio­n is in advance of the senior ensembles’ performanc­e tour in Spain in April. Tickets are $15, adults and seniors, $10 for students, available at the school or at the door (cash only please).

Tuesday, March 24

• The next lecture of the Family History Society of NL will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 at Hampton Hall, Marine Institute, Ridge Road. Guest speaker is Larry Dohey, manager of collection­s and projects at The Rooms Provincial Archives. The topic is “The Lost Cemetery: The Long’s Hill Cemetery.” This is a free presentati­on and non-members are welcome to attend.

• The Citizens’ Representa­tive Office, in associatio­n with the SRCNL, will hold a panel discussion regarding enduring powers of attorney at 7 p.m. on March 24 at the Fairfield (Marriott) 199 Kenmount Rd., St. John’s.

• The A/B E.P. Roche Assembly of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus will hold their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, March 24 in the meeting room of the Mary Queen of Peace church on Torbay Road.

All Sir Knights are invited and encouraged to attend. Rosary begins at 7:30 p.m.; meeting will follow. Sir Knights are reminded to bring their 3rd Degree card and their 4th Degree card to the meeting.
