Man knocked down in traffic reportedly OK

-

CORNER BROOK (TC Media)— The driver of the vehicle and the man who was knocked down on Main Street in Corner Brook early Friday afternoon were both at fault, according to Const. Scott Mosher. Whether that results in any charges remains to be seen, said the RNC officer. A 68-year-old Stephenville Crossing man was walking across Main Street behind a vehicle stopped near the intersection with West Street when the driver backed into him, knocking him to the ground. It is believed he hit his head, causing a cut that left some blood pooled on the street.
