We recently talked about the alliance between Mercedes-Benz and bike manufacturer MV Agusta; in October of last year, the German automaker bought 25% of the Italian bike builder in an attempt to follow in the footsteps of VW (which bought Ducati shortly before).

To celebrate their union, both brands jointly announced a very limited version of one of Italy’s finest superbikes.

Based on the style of the Mercedes-AMG GT S, the MV Agusta F3 800 is covered in the same yellow paint as the German supercar. The bike also sports the AMG name on both sides, and its wheels are decorated with a yellow band.

The motorcycle is fitted with a 798cc engine; while it certainly won’t sound as good as the AMG GT, it will rocket the bike at ridiculous speed since it has 148 horsepower and 65 pound-feet of torque. With a road straight and long enough, the MV Agusta can get up to 269 km/h.
