• The Signal Hill Tattoo is an internatio­nally known award winning historical animation program which show cases the different eras of the Royal Newfoundla­nd Regiment. Each summer, audiences thrill to the echo of the cannon, mortars, musket and rifle fire combined with the stirring tunes of the Fife and Drum Band. The Show can be seen on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 11am and 3pm. A fantastic show the whole family can enjoy. *The show is weather permitting and will not go ahead in the rain*

Sunday, July 24

• Garden Party, Holy Trinity Parish, Torbay, Sunday, July 24 at 2 p.m. Cash and goods wheels; nevada; canteen, fish pond, face paining on the church grounds. On July 25 there will be a card game at the parish hall. Tickets are $5 each. All ticket holders will be eligible for the door prize of $100 and all prizes drawn at the card game. For tickets call or drop by the parish office during office hours or call 437-6628. • Jim Wellman will sign copies of “The Call of the Ocean” in St. John’s on Sunday, July 24, from 12-2 p.m. at Costco and from 3:30-5 p.m. at Coles, Village Shopping Centre. • Evening Prayer will be held at the Old Historic Anglican Church, Church Terrace, Topsail at 7 p.m. On July 24 and 31 and Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Monday, July 25

The Fluvarium’s Parents and Tot Program takes place every Monday until Aug. 29th from 9:45-10:30 a.m. Children ages 1-6 and their parents are invited to join us at The Fluvarium for our Froglets program. We will walk and explore near Long Pond and Nagle’s Brook Hill, share stories, songs and watch for critters who call this their home. This is a drop-in only program with a limit of 10 families per session so come early to ensure you get a spot. Each session will cost general admission, $8 for adults and $5 for children.
