Prospector training

Every year the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources offers a prospector training course, through the College of the North Atlantic. This year, the course is set for the college’s Bay St. George campus in Stephenville from Sept. 12-23. The course costs $600, plus $300 for meals and accommodations if needed. Anyone interested must submit an application ahead of time, with some required personal information. Applications are available online (nr.gov.nl.ca).
