Ferryland Feile Seamus Creagh — Traditiona­l Irish and Newfoundla­nd Music, Song and Dance has been held on the Southern Shore for the past number of years and showcases accomplish­ed performers from Ireland and Newfoundla­nd. As well, the concert will feature an Open Champion Irish dancer from Ireland. Feile Seamus Creagh goes ahead Sunday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. Performers include: Aoife and Deirdre Granville (Ireland), Sean Sullivan and Rob Slaney, Daoiri Farrell (Ireland), Dave Panting, Oisin Mac Diarmada, Seamus Begley and Samantha Harvey (Ireland). Tickets are $23 in advance and $28 at the door. Tickets are available at Ferryland Foodland, Cape Broyle Ultramar, SSFAC office or by calling 432-2052.

St. John’s Internatio­nal Airport

St. John’s The St. John’s Internatio­nal Airport Authority hosts family-oriented events including an entertainm­ent series for travellers in the airport terminal building over the summer season. Shows start at 11:30 a.m. Performing on Aug. 24 are Jason Simms and Patrick Moran; Aug. 25 is Duo Armonia, Aug. 30 is Brianna Gosse and Aug. 31 are Fergus Brown O’Byrne and Tony O’Brien.
