Ferryland Feile Seamus Creagh — Traditional Irish and Newfoundland Music, Song and Dance has been held on the Southern Shore for the past number of years and showcases accomplished performers from Ireland and Newfoundland. As well, the concert will feature an Open Champion Irish dancer from Ireland. Feile Seamus Creagh goes ahead Sunday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. Performers include: Aoife and Deirdre Granville (Ireland), Sean Sullivan and Rob Slaney, Daoiri Farrell (Ireland), Dave Panting, Oisin Mac Diarmada, Seamus Begley and Samantha Harvey (Ireland). Tickets are $23 in advance and $28 at the door. Tickets are available at Ferryland Foodland, Cape Broyle Ultramar, SSFAC office or by calling 432-2052.

St. John’s International Airport

St. John’s The St. John’s International Airport Authority hosts family-oriented events including an entertainment series for travellers in the airport terminal building over the summer season. Shows start at 11:30 a.m. Performing on Aug. 24 are Jason Simms and Patrick Moran; Aug. 25 is Duo Armonia, Aug. 30 is Brianna Gosse and Aug. 31 are Fergus Brown O’Byrne and Tony O’Brien.
