King among MHL’s most helpful players
Amherst Ramblers forward Jordan King, shown in this file photo, was as of Thursday one of three players leading the Maritime league in assists, with 13. King, a 19-year-old from Corner Brook also was sitting fourth in overall league scoring with 20 points. The fact King tops the MHL in helpers should not be a surprise — he led the Newfoundland and Labrador Midget League in assists as a member of the Western Kings in 201314. Since then, King has played with the QMJHL’s Halifax Mooseheads and Saint John Sea Dogs, as well as the Ramblers.
