Cricket final Sunday

The Cricket Newfoundland and Labrador provincial winter indoor league championship will be determined Sunday at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre in St. John’s. Four games are scheduled, concluding with a championship final at noon between two unbeaten teams, the Avengers and Newfoundland Super Kings. The Avengers topped Group A, then beat the Superstars in the semifinal, while NSK finished first Group B and defeated the Lions in the other semifinal. The Lions and SuperStars meet in the bronze-medal game at 11 am.
