Dwight Ball second-least popular premier in Canada: poll
An Angus Reid Institute report on its recent poll places Premier Dwight Ball in second-last place to Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne on the country’s approval scale.
“In Newfoundland and Labrador, the prospects for Dwight Ball are worse. Just one in five (20 per cent) approve of the job he is doing as premier,” the report notes. Liberal Wynne is at 12 per cent in public approval.
Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall is the country’s most popular leader, but his numbers have slipped six per cent. Filling out the No. 2-7 spots are the premiers of Manitoba, Quebec, Alberta, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Prince Edward Island was not included.
The Angus Reid Institute said it analyzed the results of an online survey conducted from March 6-13, among a representative randomized sample of 5,404 Canadian adults who are members of the Angus Reid Forum.
