Icecaps look to stay in playoff hunt

The St. John’s Icecaps, in a playoff position by the slightest of margins in the

AHL’S North

Division, look to snap a two-game losing streak starting this afternoon when they take on the Hershey Bears at Mile One Centre.

Both today’s game and

Sunday afternoon’s tilt start at 4 p.m.

The Icecaps dropped two heartbreakers to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Tuesday and Wednesday, coughing up a four-goal lead only to lose in overtime in the first game, and then allowing the tying goal at 18:44 of the third period before losing in the shootout in the rematch.
