‘COME FROM AWAY’ CATCHES CLINTONS’ EYES

-

The Tony-award winning Broadway musical “Come From Away” continues to attract the attention of some pretty highprofile audience members. Late last week Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea all headed to see the show. Newfoundland actor Petrina Bromley, one of the cast members of the award-winning musical, tweeted a photo of the cast and Clintons backstage after the performance, saying the cast were thrilled to have the Clintons in attendance for the show.

Based on the hundreds of passengers stranded in Gander in the wake of the 9-11 terror attacks on New York, “Come From Away” has won and been nominated for a slew of awards since it opened earlier this year.
