O'DONNELL (nee KIRK) Elizabeth Jane

Age 58 of Head of Jeddore passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax NS on July 17, 2017. Born in Florida, USA on April 3, 1959; she was a daughter of Bessie and the late Bud Kirk. Jane moved to Nova Scotia in 2014 upon retiring from Queens University to enjoy her days on the Atlantic sea shore. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 35 years Jim; sons Sean of Red Deer, AB, Stephen (Amanda) of Belleville, ON, Matthew (Katherine) of Edmonton, AB; sister Joanie; brothers Jeffery (Kerry) and Gerald (Veronica) all of Goulds, NL. In keeping with Jane's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the nurses at the Centennial Building and doctors Rayson and Nolan, Oncology Unit for their special love, care and support shown to Jane and her family.
