RCMP investigat­ing near-collision of aircraft and drone

The RCMP in Happy Valleygoos­e Bay is investigat­ing a near-collision between an unmanned air vehicle (drone) and an aircraft in Labrador.

The incident occurred in the area of Wilburn Bay about noon on Tuesday as the aircraft was approachin­g the Goose Bay airport to land.
