Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family, Peter (Junior) Wakeham, age 50 years of Jerseyside, Placentia. Peter is predecease­d in death by his infant brother Ignatius, brothers Raymond (2015), Brendan (2016), sister Margaret Ryan; his parents Peter and Mary Wakeham; mother-in-law Ethel Reading; brothers-in-law Edward Barry and John Santaniell­o, and nephew Christioph­er O'reilly (2017). Leaving with fond and loving memories are his loving wife of 25 years, Kelly, his son Taylor and his daughter Mackenzie. Junior's Godchild, Peter Willie Smith, will always cherish their time together. Peter's father-in-law Bill Reading (Isabelle) also mourns the loss of such a wonderful son-in-law. Junior is survived by his siblings: Annie Santaniell­o, Anita (Bob), Marion Fougere (Terry), Theresa (Harry), Ignatious, Phyllis Smith (Edward), Sandra, Perpetua Barry, Dolorosa O'reilly (Denis), Yvonne (Leonard), Gerard (Cathy) and his brothers-in-law Gerard Ryan and Mark Reading (Kim). Uncle Junior will be sadly missed by a large circle of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He will also be missed by his dear friends Ray Portis, Glenn Neville and his coworkers at Marine Atlantic who he referred to as his "Second Family". Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday, September 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 and Saturday, September 16, from 10-12:30.
