Two dead after Ferryland house fire

The RCMP confirmed that two people died in a house fire in Ferryland early Friday.

The bodies of a 76-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman were discovered at the Pools Road home. Police say there is no foul play suspected, and an investigation continues.

First responders were notified of the fire just after 1 a.m.
