Age 77, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Graham for 58 years, cherished mother of Tony Decker (Marilyn), Michael Decker and Joanne Ostler (Ken). Much loved grandmothe­r of Marie Soleil, Liam and Olivia. She will be dearly missed by her brother Dave Howe (Mary) her sister Janet Howe Morrison (Lane) and her sister-in-law Jean Decker (John), and her many other relatives and friends. A heart felt thank you to the caring and compassion­ate staff at the Miller Center, as well as her loving friends and relatives who never left her side. Donna was an avid sports fan. She followed golf, curling, football and her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. Over the years, she was an active member of the community, sitting on various committees, such as the carnival committee, softball associatio­n, town councilor, and Provincial PC party. She worked/owned the Aurora newspaper in Labrador City. She loved to laugh, bake, cook, garden and entertain. She made a difference in the lives of many and she will be dearly missed. God has gained a true angel. Family and friends will be received at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue in St. John's on Friday Oct. 6th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at Barrett's on Saturday, Oct. 7th at 11:00 am, followed by procession to Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
