COOPER Gerald Joseph

Nov. 17, 1957 - Oct. 1, 2017 Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Sunday, October 1, 2017, Gerald Joseph Cooper, age 59 years. Predeceased by his parents Gerald Alexander Cooper (2003) and Mary Bridget (Ryan) Cooper (2006), his mother-in-law Mary Irene (Hannon) Blyde (1997) and father-in-law William Joseph Blyde (1974); his uncles Philip Ryan, Michael Ryan and William Ryan; his aunt Ellen (Nellie) Mcgrath (2015); his grandparents Marion (Howlett) Ryan (1984) and Michael Ryan (1972). Leaving to mourn his much loved family, his wife Joanne (Blyde); sons Keith (Lisa Marshall), Steven wife Kathleen (Furlong) and Matthew (Sandra Lynn Bennett); the six joys of his life his grandchildren Tyler and Nathan Dove, Logan and Lexxus Cooper who held a very special place in his heart (along with their mommy Ashley Kavanagh, Andrew Hindy and baby brother Maddox Hindy), Jasmine and Chloe Cooper and Jade Brinston; his sisters Linda Cooper, Diane (John) Lights, Marguerite (Pat) Hynes (Cal. AB), Jackie Dooling (Chuck Bourgeois), Sherry Lynn Butler (J.J. Chaisson, Oromocto, NB); and his only brother Keith (Janet Davis of Peterborough, ON). Gerald also leaves to mourn his sisters-in-law Anita Wyatt, Margaret Blyde, Geraldine (Roy) Dwyer, Irene Blyde (Leonard Connors), Eileen Noel of Edmonton, AB, Patricia (Tom) Lawlor of North River as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and special friend Paul Cleary. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice.
