Don’t forget the kit

Making sure you have enough health insurance for medical emergencies while travelling is one thing. But what about the little things?

Take a travel health kit including things like: adhesive bandages (multiple sizes) and tape, hand sanitizer, antiseptic wound cleanser, blister pads or moleskin, disposable latex or vinyl gloves, gauze, oral rehydration salts, safety pins and scissors, tensor bandages for sprains, a thermometer and tweezers for removing ticks, splinters etc. Source: http://travel.gc.ca/travelling/health-safety/kit
