BUILDING on a solid foundation, around a steel frame with all the essential integrity, The Hawthorne is all-new construction. As Jeff Reardon notes, “what you are looking at here is all new windows, doors and siding. All the interior construction is totally new and leading-edge in the construction industry today. The building originally had a flat roof, but we put a trussed and peaked roof over it to doubly assure it can handle all types of weather. We put in a totally new electrical system and the plumbing is all new. The Hawthorne’s technology is stateof-the-art too.” As to its design and colours, care was taken to create a condominium complex that demonstrated a love and respect of the built-heritage of this Province.
