Eyes in the skies

-

Just recently I watched an experienced U.S. navy pilot interviewed about their encounter with some really out-of-this world object — this occurred in 2002. With state-of-the-art radar, they tracked/zeroed in on this object (which was observed before this by the military, who directed them to surveil whatever it was). It eventually disappeared off their radar at an incredible speed.

These, and many other encounters, resulted in a government-run program (at a cost of $20 million that ran from 2007-2012) to do some serious investigation of what was happening in our skies. Harry Reid, the Democratic senator from Arizona (once the majority leader, by the way), spearheaded funding this initiative. It would be very worthwhile for anyone reading this, who has interest in more details regarding the incident described above, to just Google “U.S. navy pilot interview re UFO”.

I felt somewhat vindicated after listening to the pilot, because in the early ’80s I witnessed a similar object from our travel trailer on a bright Sunday afternoon in Bay Roberts. We were relaxing on the bunk, reading, when the trailer filled with a bright light — this on a sunny day! I went to a window overlooking the bay and there was this incredibly bright orb hanging above the water.

Seconds after, I watched in amazement/awe as it took off in the bay in a flash! The next morning on VOCM, as I listened to the local news, a short story came on regarding a number of weekend sightings along the eastern seaboard of North America — related maybe, who knows?

I thought of RCMP officer Jim Blackwood, and his recounting of the now famous Clarenville UFO incident (multiple witnesses and observed for more than an hour). He was later interviewed by NTV’S Geoff Stirling about the encounter. By the way, you can view this on Youtube for the utterly fascinating account.

I have a theory on what’s happening. Just as we send probes to the moon, Mars and other planets, someone out there (and there are billions of planets orbiting billions of stars) is sending probes (probably operated robotically) to our blue planet. It is not hard to imagine that there are civilizations in the universe, perhaps thousands of years old and incredibly advanced, who have this exploration capacity!

Do you have a better explanation, readers? One thing is certain, something really incredible is happening on our planet, and because we cannot explain it or have yet to experience it ourselves, let us not be too hasty in ridiculing those of us who have been fortunate enough to be observers. These would include thousands of pilots, law enforcement officials, several astronauts, many famous politicians/personalities (like U.S. President Jimmy Carter), and millions of ordinary citizens over the years.

Astronaut Edgar Mitchell’s account is out of this world — check it out, you skeptics!
