N.L. being treated unfairly under equalization

It is high time the federal Liberals under Justin Trudeau reinstate equalization payments to Newfoundland and Labrador.

If Quebec receives $10-billionplus in equalization while enjoying a $2-billion surplus, and the federal government gives equalization to other “have-not” provinces like Nova Scotia, P.E.I., New Brunswick, Ontario and Manitoba, Ottawa can do the same with N.L.

Prime Minister Trudeau, Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau, MPS Yvonne Jones, Gudie Hutchings, Churence Rogers, Scott Simms, Ken Mcdonald, Nick Whalen and Seamus O’regan, and all Liberal MHAS: Ottawa can and must reinstate equalization payments now.

Newfoundland and Labrador is now a have-not province!
