A solo exhibit by prolific artist Louise Sutton at The Leyton Gallery of Fine Art. A selection of works in oil, acrylic and mixed media, Louise drifts seamlessly between the worlds of representation and abstraction with a vibrant energy. Exhibit runs until Feb. 24.

Little Explorers
Come to Manuels River for an engaging and interactive hour of stories, songs, activities, and play, as we learn about the world around us. $7 per child or free with membership (caregivers free). No pre-registration required. This program is designed for children two to four years old and their caregivers.

Active Start Playgroup Parents and caregivers can get active with the little ones at Paul Reynolds Community Centre. Recreation staff on site to develop physical literacy through active play. $3 per child between ages two and five. Under age two is free.

Afterschool Movie
Join us at Manuels River for a movie in our comfortable theatre. Showing “School of Rock.” We’ll provide the popcorn! Screening is $5 per person or free for members. No pre-registration required. Children under 11 years old must attend with a parent or guardian.

2:30 p.m. Photography in The Rooms Art Gallery Collections
Join Art Gallery Registrar Chris Batten, who will show and share photographs from the different art gallery collections housed inside The Rooms vaults. Then, take a look at the exhibition Photography in Canada: 1960-2000, on tour from the National Gallery of Canada. Included with the cost of general admission.

Easter Seals’ Winter Family Carnival A day of inclusive winter fun so the whole family can play together! Crafts, gym activities, camp fire, and a trail ride through Pippy Park.
