The NL Folk Arts Society partnered with St. John’s Womxn In Music to celebrate International Womxn’s Day. Join guest emcee, Joanna Barker (Co-director of SWIM), for an evening of music by five incredible womxn from our local music community. This Folk Night Special will feature performances by Megan Marshall, Maria Peddle, Rachel Cousins, Allie Duff, and Maria Cherwick. St. John’s Womxn in Music is a community arts organization dedicated to breaking down barriers that women identified, as well as barriers that two-spirited and non-binary folk in the music industry face, through education, partnership, and programming in our city and beyond.
