MBSR is an approach to self-care that teaches stress management techniques that are powerful and long-lasting, shown from research over the past 20 years. The weekly crib game in support of Ronald Mcdonald House continues in the basement of St. Teresa’s Church. Admission is $5 per person, with a prize for the winner. Family History Society Lecture A lecture by Shane O’dea, professor of English and public orator at Memorial. O’dea has long been involved with preservati­on in Newfoundla­nd and his topic is “The Genealogy of a House: Researchin­g an 1834 Structure in John’s.” The meeting will be held at Hampton Hall, Marine Institute, Ridge Road.
