Weekly Crib Game
The weekly crib game in support of Ronald Mcdonald House continues in the basement of St. Teresa’s Church. Admission is $5 per person, with a prize for the winner. There are many people able to teach the game as you go along, so no experience is required. All are welcome for an evening of fun while supporting a good cause.

MBSR is an approach to self-care that teaches stress management techniques that are powerful and long-lasting, shown from program research over the past 20 years. The course runs from 6:30-9 p.m. every Tuesday at the Lantern starting April 3 for eight weeks.

This group meets every Tuesday evening at the Wesley Church basement on Patrick Street. It is an hour of spiritual music, scripture and quiet time — an hour away from the hustle and bustle of life. The Canadian Federation of University Women St. John’s is collecting gently used books for their Great Big Book Sale coming up May 14-16. Books can be dropped off between Monday and Saturday from 11 a.m to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 1-3 p.m. We accept fiction and non-fiction for all ages and interests. We cannot take encyclopedias, textbooks, Readers’ Digest Condensed Books, magazines or outdated technology manuals. Located in Woodgate Plaza on Kenmount Road between Toys R Us and Quiznos.
