The Canadian Federation of University Women St. John’s is collecting gently used books for the upcoming Great Big Book Sale May 14-16 at the Remax Centre. Please donate by delivering your books to the Woodgate Plaza, 58 Kenmount Rd. (entrance next to Quiznos). Last day for collecting is Saturday, April 21. We accept fiction and non-fiction for all ages and interests. We cannot take encycloped­ias, textbooks, Readers’ Digest Condensed Books, magazines or outdated technology manuals. Proceeds from the annual book sales go toward community outreach and scholarshi­ps.

Come shop and take a stroll through our vendors market at Spruce Hills Community Church, 1496 Topsail Rd., and support the programs and services at Ronald Mcdonald House Charities Newfoundla­nd and Labrador. You will find special gifts, handmade crafts, art, skincare and makeup, and natural products. Approximat­ely 20 vendors will sell their products and merchandis­e. Coffee and tea will be available on site. There will also be a face painting station. Admission is by donation
