Dining in the Dark

It’s exciting. Maybe a little unnerving. A culinary experience where you are blindfolded. Dining in the Dark is a sensory experience that allows you to use your sense of smell, taste, hearing and touch to experience the exceptional food and wine at the Gypsy Tea Room. Hosted by the Canadian National Institute for the Blind Newfoundland and Labrador, Dining in the Dark challenges the perspective of what it means to live with vision loss. The experience awakens the senses and turns the table on society’s preconceptions toward living with vision loss and blindness. We hope you will join us for a fabulous three-course meal with beverage pairings. Tickets are $125 per person. Contact Amanda for more information: 709-7541180, extension 5807.
