EDMUNDS Albert

February 28, 1946 – Dec. 3, 2017 Albert Edmunds, P. Eng. passed peacefully away on December 3, 2017 surrounded by his loving wife and children. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Rhoda (Hopedale, Labrador), brothers Jack and William, sisters Ellen Edmunds and Susan Winters, and mother-in-law Loretta Corcoran (nee Burke). Left to celebrate his life and mourn his passing his wife of 50 years Loretta (nee Corcoran); daughters Dr. Danika Edmunds-wood (Dr. Robert Wood) and Deantha Edmunds-ramsay (Darin); son Albert David Edmunds (Wanda Parsons); 4 grandchildren whom he adored: Isabella, Emilia, Charlie Wood and Annabelle Ramsay; 2 sisters Christine Luevano (Higinio-deceased) and Rose Lucy (John); brother-in-law James Winters; sister-in-law Beatrice Corcorancasey (Ron – deceased); brotherin-law S. Joseph Corcoran (Martha); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He had a long and successful career as a professional engineer in construction, at home, across Canada and around the world. Cremation has taken place as per Albert’s request. Visitation will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Road on Friday, June 8 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorial service will take place at Caul’s Chapel on Saturday, June 9 at 2:00pm. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Rd. A kind and loving husband, father, and poppa, his absence is a silent grief, his life a beautiful memory.
