Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on August 6, 2018, Nevaeh Joey Veronica, aged 9 years old. Welcomed in to Heaven by her daddy Joey Poole, great-grandparen­ts John and Millicent Denine, great-grandparen­ts Veronica and William Poole, great-grandfathe­r Roland Randell and Nanny Gail. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts her mom Holly, step-father John, brother Nick (Hayley), grandfathe­r

John Denine, grandma Marleen, Nanny Denine-lawlor, grandparen­ts Joe and Olive Poole, aunt Tina (Jason), uncle Jay (Jillian), cousins Bailey, Jaden, baby on the way, Abigail, Hannah and Ryan.

Also leaving with broken hearts her great-aunt Barb and family, uncle Davie, the ladies of the Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand Committee, special family friend Stephanie O’brien (Drew), her namesake Charlotte Nevaeh, and all the Denine, Poole and Everard families. Thank you to Nevaeh’s oncologist­s who have taken such good care of her for the past four years, we cannot thank you enough, Dr. Paul Moorehead, Dr. Lynette Bowes and Dr. Lisa Goodyear.

Also, Gale Robert’s who held our hand on every journey, Dr. Andre Hodder and Dr. Pochini the nurses at Medical Daycare, J4 Medicine who care for Nevaeh for over four years, especially Robin who took care of

us in her final days. The child life department, the girls in the kitchen, especially Bev, and of course Barry who held her hand for every sedation. Also, Tracey at shoppers who went above and beyond to help us with meds. Funeral Service will take place at St. Kevin’s Parish, Goulds, on Thursday, August 9, 2018 with a celebratio­n of life to follow directly after at St. Kevin’s Parish Hall. Cremation has taken place. Family requests you dress in bright colors as this is a celebratio­n life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NLS. Arrangemen­ts entrusted to Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue.
