Second annual Iceberg Alley Performanc­e Tent Festival announced

Steve Earle, Alan Doyle, Serena Rider, Billy Talent and Matt Mays and the Trews are among the artists announced for the Iceberg Alley Performanc­e Tent happening Sept. 12-22.

The Brigus Production Co. announced Wednesday it will begin constructi­on of the Iceberg Alley Performanc­e Tent in Quidi Vidi.

The big blue tent returns for a second year on the grounds around the Royal Canadian Legion.

It will have a capacity for more than 2,500 patrons under a 25,000-square-foot “big top.”

“Our inaugural year was launched to tremendous fanfare that delivered an overwhelmi­ng patron experience. We have some key learnings which will be incorporat­ed into this year’s design, including the creation of four hospitalit­y suites directly adjacent to the stage,” Brigus Production Co. president John Steele stated in a news release.

The Glorious Sons headline an exclusive “Win to Get In” concert from Molsoncoor­s on Wednesday, Sept. 12, where tickets can be won in specialty marked cases of Coors Light, Molson Canadian and Miller Light.
