Cineplex Cinemas Mount Pearl offers event screening
Cineplex Cinemas Mount Pearl is becoming one of the specialty Event Cinema theatres.
Residents of metro area St. John’s can take in the latest plays from the National Theatre or visit a world-renowned art gallery through the new dedicated Event Cinema screen showcasing Cineplex Events programming.
Cineplex Cinemas Mount Pearl is offering original, “onenight-only” and series-based entertainment with daily performance as one of 10 new dedicated-event screens opening this year.
This will bring the total to 22 across the country.
Event Cinema series include stage, concerts and music, classic film, in the gallery, dance, family favourites, anime, travel, and The Met Opera, as well as special limited-engagement presentations, holiday programming, rare archival episodes from popular television shows and more, according to
a news release from Cineplex.
“We have been seeing an increased demand for Events Cinema programming and are thrilled that a dedicated Events screen is now open in St. John’s,” said Brad Ladouceur, vice-president, Event Cinema, Cineplex.
“Our goal is to provide our guests with acclaimed and exclusive content from around the world with the added convenience of additional performances throughout the week. If you cannot go to London or New York, you can enjoy these brilliant performances on the big screen from the comfort of your local Cineplex theatre seven days a week.”
