COADY Kevin

Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer in his hometown of Logy Bay surrounded by his loving family on September 8, 2018, age 62 years. Kevin was an employee with the Canadian Coast Guard for 31 years. Predeceased by parents Theresa (nee Kavanagh) and Richard Coady; mother and father-in-law Frank and Nancy (nee Power) Kearsey; uncle Patrick Coady. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Heather (nee Kearsey); daughters Krista and Lee Ann (Noel); sister Patricia (Keith Kearsey); brothers Joe (Katie), Denis (Zena), Jimmy (Debbie), David, Wayne (Judy), Gerry (Nadine) and Carl; sisters-inlaw Brenda (Jim Walsh), Marlene (Vince Corcoran), Lori and Frances (Dean Osmond); special friend Keith Barrett, Canine Best Buddy Duncan. As well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Dawe and Community Health Nurse Dawn Clarke for all the care they gave to Kevin. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road with visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 9:30 am from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Interment to take place at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Kevin’s memory may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
