Passed peacefully away surrounded by the loving presence of her family on Monday, October 1, 2018. Predeceased by her husband, Jerry, her cherished son Gerald, parents: John and Violet Gale, brothers: Leo, Thomas, John and Charlie, sisters: Ellen Dutton, Theresa Greene and Eileen English, sister-in-law Sheila Gale and brothersin-law, Leonard Greene, Kevin Dutton, Michael English and Raymond Mahon. Leaving to cherish memories of a most beautiful mother are her daughters: Joyce, St. John’s, (Rev. Edward Keeping, Michelle and Lindsay) and Mona, Staten Island, NY (Thomas Quinlan, TJ, Laura and Sophia), and her son Wally, Chapel’s Cove, (Margie, Cody, Jessica, Cole and Riley, and her sister Anna Mahon Indianapolis, IN and family, sisters-in-law Theresa Gale and

Mary Gale (Placentia), numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends, and her dedicated care givers, staff and the many residents and families whom she appreciated and who loved her at Pleasant View Towers, St. John’s. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood with visitation on Wednesday October 3, and Thursday, October 4 from 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2 pm from Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Harbour Main followed by burial at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Chapel’s Cove.
