ANDREWS Millicent Linda (nee Ash)

Passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear in the early hours of Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 92 years. She was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 10 Portugal Cove. Predeceased by her parents Gilbert and Sarah, husband Alexander, brothers Hedley (Ethel), William (Anne), sister Margaret (Lloyd); brothers-inlaw Eden Dyer, Ronald Oates, Andrew Hiscock (Violet), Bill Andrews (Grace), Ralph Andrews (Queen), Cyril Andrews (Rose), Wilson Andrews; sisterin-law Clara Garland (Frank). Leaving to mourn sons Robert and Wayne (Sharon); daughter Karen Meulenkamp (Chris); grandchildren Sarah, Michelle, Michael, Sean, Stephen, Emma & Meghan; great grandchildren Judah, Alex and Cameron; sisters Emma Dyer, Gladys Oates, Ruby Schwab (Albert), Verda Greening (Fred); brother John Ash (Emma); brother-in-law Alwyn Andrews (Susie) and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, 4 south for their care and compassion shown towards Millicent during her time there. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s) on Saturday, October 13 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Sunday, October 14 from 10:00 Am to 9:00 PM. Funeral service will take place from St. Lawrence Anglican Church on Monday, October 15 at 2:00 PM, with interment to follow in St. Lawrence Church Cemetery, Bauline Line, Portugal Cove.
