CASEY Gertrude Mary (Hanlon)

Passed peacefully away surrounded by family on October 22, 2018, aged 87. Predeceased by her loving husband Peter (1987), parents Jim and Alice (Mackey) siblings Joan Uzzolino, Frank and Alec, sister-inlaw Shirley, and son-inlaw Robert Penton. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life; children: Peter (Cathie), Brian (Lox Bath), Sean (Margaret), Lynn, Donna (Perry Petley), Andrea (Wayne Ghaney), Kim Petley (Bill Walker); siblings: Jimmy, Helen (Ed Woodrow), Marge, Frank Uzzolino; grandchildren: Beth (Craig Hubley), Christopher (Sarah Clarke), Erin (Lance Doucette), David (Ashley Abbott), Megan (Darren Martinelli), Jane (Roy Sullivan), Robyn, Stephanie (Brent Guy), Jessica (Daniel Sinclair), Allison (Trevor Hearn), Mark (Kyla Mcconnell), Tim (Marissa Amisson), Casey, Justin; greatgrandchildren: Caroline, Simon, Jada, Amelia, Arthur, Harrison; special nieces: Denise (Jimmy Stone), Lisa (Darrell Kelly), Paula; and all of the beautiful supportive Casey family members who she cherished deeply: Carmel Macdonald, Maureen Casey, Eileen Tucker, Ron and Eleanor Casey, Brenda and Bill Grouchy, Jim and Maureen Casey, and families. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff from Cambridge Estates and Chancellor Park for their compassion and care. Visitation will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service from Caul’s Chapel on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre. She was a woman who knew how to laugh and knew how to love life.
