9:30 a.m. Wee Ones Walk

The fourth annual Wee Ones Walk to raise awareness and provide support for premature infants and their families in Newfoundla­nd and Labrador. Walk begins at the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre (68 Mcnamara Dr.). This is a free event but pre-registrati­on is required. Register by e-mailing worldprema­turityday@easternhea­lth.ca.

All items at this market at the Waterford Hospital Lions Club are free – you’ll find kids’ and adult clothing, household items, and more. Located on Waterford Bridge Road above Evergreen Recycling from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please call Lion Joy at 738-2906 to donate.

Soul Food: Two Wings

All are welcome to Two Wings, a celebratio­n of the equality of women and men, from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Landing (Room 3018, University Centre, MUN). Two Wings is the theme of the latest event in the Soul Food inspiratio­nal series, which is sponsored by the Bahá’í community of St. John’s. Soul Food features music, poetry, and readings from diverse faiths, philosophe­rs, authors, leaders and Indigenous cultures from all over the world. Our guest performers this month are Conway, the Irish Newfoundla­nd musical duo of Emily and Thomas Conway. The program will be followed by a social and refreshmen­ts. Admission is free.
