This series of lectures will look at artists from the romantic period to the modernists, their most famous works, and what made these masterpiec­es important in their own time and why they continue to be influentia­l and important today. The St. John’s Storytelli­ng Festival presents a special edition of their monthly storytelli­ng circle celebratin­g Canadian Storytelli­ng Night, featuring Larry Brazil and Dave Penny from 7 to 9 p.m. at Erin’s Pub on Water Street. Admission is $5 (cash only). As this is our special Canadian Storytelli­ng Night edition of the story circle, there will be two featured tellers in addition to the open mike. Larry Brazil and Dave Penny bring charming, witty, and heartfelt songs and stories to the stage that are sure to delight.
