July 27, 1939 – November 13, 2018

On November 13, 2018, our lives were forever changed by the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather. Our family would like to express our gratitude to everyone who visited, called, sent cards, messages, floral arrangements, gifts of food, and donations to the Sibley’s Cove Bethel United Church Cemetery Fund.

Thank you to Reverend Bill Bartlett for your kindness and support; the nurses, doctors and staff of St. Clare’s 7 West; Reverend Joan Brinston for the beautiful service; Soloist Wayne Button; Selby’s niece Carolyn Pike for the reading, and sonin-law Gerry Osmond for the tribute that reflected Selb’s character and sense of humour; the UCW of Bethel United Church for the meal following the service; and pallbearers Eric Button, Cory Howell, Trevor Howell, Paul Maher, Scott Milley, and Gerry Osmond. Special thank you to Selb’s sisters Pearl Milley, Florence Button and Jean Howell for your love and support.

We would also like to thank Shane Mouland and the staff of Barrett’s and Hopkins Funeral Homes for your care and professionalism; the staff of Rosemore Homecare; the Button family; the Osmond family; Steve and Angela Coombs; Stella and Wilfred Button, and the Petten family.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please be assured that no kindness went unnoticed or unappreciated.
