Upcoming

Guided Forest Bathing Walk

Rekindle your relationship with nature this Valentine’s! Forest bathing is a great way to decrease stress and anxiety, boost your immune system, reduce blood pressure and stress, increase creativity and focus, reconnect with nature, and so much more. Come and see what medicine the forest holds for you. This Saturday, Feb. 16, we will slow down, awaken our senses, and help restore our relationship to both our self and nature. Our walk will end with a tea ceremony featuring tea from locally foraged plants. When we depart, we’ll have a new appreciation for our boreal woodlands, and a practice we can readily apply in our daily lives. Notes: please dress warm, preferably in layers – snow pants may be a good choice (this is not a hike – as such we will not generate much body heat). In the event of rain this event will be rescheduled. Cost is $28 or pay what you can. Space is limited to about 12 to 15 participants. Event takes place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Book your space at www.natureminded.ca.
