Passed peacefully away while surrounded by her loving family, at the Health Science Centre, on September 12, 2019, Linda Giles, aged 76 years. Predecease­d by her husband, Eric Ivan Giles, parents Thomas and Priscilla Drover, sister Irene Sheppard, brother inlaw John Sheppard, brother Edwin Drover, sister-in-law Edna Giles, parents-in-law Wilson and Lillian Giles, brother-in-law Earl Giles, sister-in-law Louise Bazilsky, and brother in-law Morrie Bazilsky. Leaving with loving memories daughter Kim (Gary Randell), son Trevor (Katrina); grandchild­ren: John, Kaylee, Erikson and Ariana; brothers: Albert Drover (Marie), Aidan Drover (Ann), and Aubrey Drover (Beverly); sisters: Joan Lane (John), Mary French (Neil), Mildred Guzzwell (Derick), and Brenda Drover, and sister-in-law Regina Drover; siblings-in-law: Randell Giles, Perry Giles (Elizabeth); Ron & Netha Stone, Gordon & Lorraine Andrews, Keith & Sandra Green, Wayne & Carol Reid and Tom & Jeanette Osbourne; special cousin-in-law and lifelong friends Clarence and Olive Stacey and also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Health Science Centre, especially those in ICU and 4 South B, for their care and support. Visitation to take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday, September 13 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church, Military Road, on Saturday, September 14 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road.
