Join us every Wednesday at 7 p.m. at The Battery Café for trivia hosted by St. John's trivia moguls Jack Etchegary and Charlotte Genest. Prizes for each round.

Upcoming Fun-filled Frozen afternoon

On Sunday, Dec. 15 from 2-4 p.m. The Fluvarium will feature a magical holiday afternoon of stories, crafts and a sing-along with Anna and Elsa. Dressing up is welcome. Be sure to bring your camera for photo ops. This event is open to all ages. $10 per child with their accompanyi­ng adult. Siblings under 24 months are free with a paid ticket. Admission to our exhibit levels is included. Tickets are on sale now by phone at 754-3474. Purchase and pick up tickets during office hours before Dec. 14. All attendees are welcome to join in for feeding time with our critters at 4 p.m., so make sure you stick around.

6:10 p.m. Bully Beware

Tired of being bullied or having your child bullied? You are not alone. The Mount Pearl School of Martial Arts has a well-structured program to arm you and/ or your child with the know-how and techniques to recognize, defuse and defend yourself against bullying. We teach students to be prepared and ARMED (aware, ready, manoeuvre, execute, defend) if they encounter bullies. Our Bully Beware program runs Wednesday and Sunday evenings at O'donel High School and is only one element of our well-structured martial arts program. Gain self-confidence through self-defence. Ongoing Seeking book donations

Friends of St. John's Public Libraries' fall book sale is on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the A.C. Hunter Children's Library. We are looking for donations of gently used books to make our sale a success. Books can be dropped off at Marjorie Mews, Micheal Donovan or A.C. Hunter libraries before Nov. 20. All proceeds go to support public library programmin­g in the city.
